I recently had my DPF filter cleaned after discovering that it was 60% clogged. The cleaning resolved that issue, but now my mechanic has informed me that the diagnostic report shows an error, specifically P0490 Exhaust Gas Recirculation ‘A’ Control Circuit High. This could indicate a clogged EGR or a loose wire. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced a similar issue and if so, what was the solution?

29.04.24 - @Roublet Apr 29, 2024MemberHello, yes you probably need to clean the EGR, it all depends on the mileage of the car and when the last time was cleaned. In general, the procedure is not easy, but it should solve your problem.Reply
