MY CAR CAME BACK FROM HAVING SOME WELDING DONE AND NOW THE DOOR LOCKS WONT OPEN USING KEY FOB. i HAVE TO OPEN WITH KEY MANUALLY…Garage says they did nothing!
Is it something simple like a fuse somewhere, a relay?
    Any help please?..cars a 2004.

If everything worked before welding, and after it does not work, it means that during welding, the wires or the control unit could be burned
the fuse or relay cannot be damaged, since the horses were not in operation while welding was being carried out.
Check the wires that go near the weld.

Most likely the boot lid lock is out of order, you need to replace it
