Hey everyone! I’m restoring my 1978 Ford Mustang and I’m really struggling to find the best rust converter. There are so many options out there! Any recommendations on what works well for those tricky spots on the undercarriage? Thanks!

For those hard to reach spots on the underbody of your 1978 Ford Mustang where there is rust, converters are a great solution.
    Recommended brands and products (liquid/spray):
    - Brunox Epoxy: A two-component converter to primer, very reliable and effective.
    - Wurth ROST OFF / Wurth Rust Converter: Often used by professionals, works quickly, creates a dense layer.
    - Body 905/906 (or Teroson VR 625): Converts rust to primer, applies well.
    - Liqui Moly Rost Stop: An effective product based on phosphate acid.
Application method for hard to reach places:
    - Aerosol can: Ideal for spraying into hidden cavities.
    - Long-handled brush: For better control.
    Important tips:
    - Pre-cleaning: Remove as much loose rust and dirt as possible.
    - Follow the instructions: Follow the manufacturer's curing time.
    - Complete drying: The surface must be completely dry after the reaction.
    - Protective coating: Be sure to apply a primer (preferably epoxy) and anti-corrosion mastic/paint over the converter.
Given the age of the Mustang, choose high-quality, proven brands for long-term results.
