I own a 2022 E Class 220d AMG mild hybrid fitted with 20 inch turbine AMG wheels. The sizes are front 245-35-20, rear 275-30-20. In the last 2 years I’ve been inundated with cracked alloys that have been welded. I’m looking for any info to help as I would like to downgrade to 18 inch alloys to increase tyre capacity instead of low profiles for increased comfort and to take away the cracking alloy problem. After investigation I have read very conflicting advice, many saying 18’s or 19’s would fit perfectly and others saying this is not possible for various reasons. I would appreciate any info especially from a specialist or anyone that’s encountered the same experience….thanks
