I recently installed the BILSTEIN B4 rear shock absorbers on my VW Passat B8 Estate, and the difference was immediately noticeable. The car had started feeling loose at the rear over bumps and a bit floaty on the motorway, but the B4s brought everything back under control.

maybe i am just buying the name? however, in our family handling/road holding is before a bit of comfort. as well as this they seem to be the last two at this price so they go on "the heap" untill required. by the by, we have three of thee cars, inexpensive! and great looking and high mileage. spares are now a great problem. without Autodoc the situation would be unsuportable.

Have your Vin number as well as your car registration ready before you check compatibility.

Beware this Is NOT a direct replacement for the OE 2005-06 2.2 diesel shock absorber. Autodoc states 'only in conjunction 53541-S7A-003', the track rod end required is for the 2.0L petrol CRV /mk7 Civic, Direct cross reference with Febi-Bilstein comes back as 178370 which has the wrong cone size. Appears to be Blueprint ADH28719

The rear shocks have been replaced along with bump stops and covers. The drop links are also refreshed. Bilstein are an excellent and quality product which is sold at a fair price by AutoDoc. They give me confidence for stability of my car and the ride is smoother and plusher now.

Fitted to a Merc C Class W203 model to compliment H&R springs. Well worth the extra money above the standard Boge twin tube shocks they replaced. The ride height is perfect on a no2 spring pad. The ride is smooth without being crashy. Wish I'd fitted them sooner.

Fantastic they are very comfortable for my e46 with stock springs 3 fingers gap in wheel and fender good ground clearance not bad at all even if they are comfortable car takes corners very nice no body roll 100% recommend hope this helps anyone want to buy.

bought a pair of these items for a Ford Focus convertible 2009. arrived within 6 days fitted without any problems and and has made a huge difference in the rear of the car I really appreciate this company also the guides that they put on YouTube

I regularly tow a caravan so need a quality product which increases towing stability and also give good ride and handling when driving solo. Bilstein B6 is a quality, reputable product which should do the job. Autodoc price very competitive.

The Bilstein shocks have been fitted to my Skoda Superb Estate and have transformed the ride. The car is sitting nicely, with new drop links as well. Very pleased with the investment in good quality parts at a very fair price from AutoDoc.

Two different shocks arrived & I am not getting any success with the customer returns system! I wanted to replace both shocks at the same time but could only fit one as the other I received was completely different to what I had ordered
