BLUE PRINT Clutch Kit reviews

Having finally got around to taking the van off the road and fitting this FrictionPlate/DMF/SlaveCylinder package to my 2009 LWB VW Transporter T5 T30 (2.5) 4-Motion van, although it fitted whithout too much hassle, the clutch pressure plate and friction plate don't have the same pressure compared to the OEM (LUX) components and the clutch slips in higher gears when maximum engine power is active. Some owners have suggested it is fairly common for replacement clutches to take time to "bed in" after being replaced but my question would be why did the original LUX clutch not need to bed in when brand new with 0 miles on the clock. In future I would only fit LUX OEM components and not take the risk on alternative brands which were virtually the same price as OEM.

Blue Print parts were always excellent quality. This clutch set does not disappoint as well. Direct replacement for clutch at K4M 812 engine, JR5 104 gearbox. Will fit probably many more. Would definitely buy it again.

Good quality and great price. Only issue was it doesn't come with new pressure plate screws. Just assume it would. Not sure if other brand supply them with them or not. Over all though very happy with the quality

very bad quality after exactly one year and 7000 mil the Slave Cylinder start leaking and and when off .cost me 400£ to take the gear box down to replace it very disappointing

i believed the japanese manufacturers seems to make high quality parts and also due to the huge discount.I usual want to buy quality parts at best prices.

Fitted perfect could have come with new bolts tho as didn’t have replacement bolts in box like Luk do. Also shipping time could be made a bit faster

Perfect fit. Buy this one and flywheel. All of them 250mm. So perfect. Just shame not cames with bearing. But all good. Buy seperate.

Superb clutch kit, and unique in the fact that no special tools are required to install it. Typical quality Blueprint product.
