Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Unscrew the fuel filter bracket. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 4
Remove the fastening bolt. - Step 5
Remove the fuel filter. - Step 6
Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 7
Disconnect the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter. Use fuel line pliers.Replacement: fuel filter – VAUXHALL CORSA Mk III (D) (L_8). AUTODOC experts recommend:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 8
Detach the fuel pressure sensor connector. - Step 9
Put the old filter cartridge in the container. - Step 10
Remove the fuel pressure sensor.Replacement: fuel filter – VAUXHALL CORSA Mk III (D) (L_8). Tip from AUTODOC experts:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 11
Install the fuel pressure sensor.
