Replacement: fuel filter – DACIA LOGAN MCV (KS_). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- Ensure adequate ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are poisonous.
- Please note: all work on the car – DACIA LOGAN MCV (KS_) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1
Open the fuel door. - Step 2
Unscrew the fuel filler cap. - Step 3Raise the car.Replacement: fuel filter – DACIA LOGAN MCV (KS_). Tip:If you are using a jack, make sure it rests on a flat surface without any unevenness.Be sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.Step 4
Prepare a container for fluids. - Step 5
Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use a nylon cleaning brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 6
Squeeze the clips and detach the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter housing. Use fuel line pliers.AUTODOC recommends:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 7
Remove the fuel filter. - Step 8Put the old filter cartridge in the container.Step 9
Clean the fuel filter bracket. Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 10
Install a new fuel filter.Replacement: fuel filter – DACIA LOGAN MCV (KS_). Tip from AUTODOC:Remember, it is important not to mix up the input and output of the filter. Arrows on the filter indicate the direction of fuel flow.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.DACIA LOGAN MCV (KS_) – It's important to only use high-quality filters.
