Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 5
Detach the fuel pressure sensor connector. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 6
Squeeze the clips and detach the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter housing. Use a flat screwdriver. Use a clip removal tool.Replacement: fuel filter – CITROËN C5 II Break (RE_). Tip:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 7
Close the fuel lines with caps. - Step 8
Unscrew the fasteners of the fuel filter housing cover. Use a drive socket #27. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 9
Remove the fuel filter cover with the old filter cartridge attached. - Step 10Prepare a container for fluids.Step 11
Put the fuel filter cover with the old filter cartridge into a container. - Step 12
Pump the fuel out of the fuel filter housing. Use a hand-operated fluid syringe. - Step 13
Remove the old sealing ring. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 14
Remove the fuel filter. - Step 15
Clean the fuel filter housing and the cover. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 16
Install the new sealing ring.
