Replacement: ABS sensor – SKODA SUPERB (3U4). Tip:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: ABS sensor – SKODA SUPERB (3U4). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 2
Loosen the fastener of the driveshaft. Use HEX No.H14. Use a tap wrench. - Step 3
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. - Step 4Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.Step 5
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. SKODA SUPERB (3U4) - Step 6
Remove the wheel. - Step 7
Disconnect the ABS sensor wiring. Use a clip removal tool. - Step 8
Detach the ABS sensor connector. - Step 9
Clean the ABS sensor fastener. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 10
Disconnect the ABS sensor. Use pincers. - Step 11
Clean the ABS sensor mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. Use a brake cleaner.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: ABS sensor – SKODA SUPERB (3U4). After applying the spray, wait a few minutes. - Step 12
Treat the ABS sensor fastener. Use a multipurpose grease. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 13
Connect the ABS sensor. - Step 14
Connect the ABS sensor wiring. - Step 15
Unscrew the fastener connecting the drive shaft to the wheel hub. Use HEX No.H14. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 16Remove the fastening bolt.Replacement: ABS sensor – SKODA SUPERB (3U4). Tip from AUTODOC experts:Make sure the ABS sensor is installed correctly.Step 17
Install and tighten the drive shaft bolt. Use HEX No.H14. Use a ratchet wrench.
