I’ve had an issue with my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe diesel automatic for over a year. It intermittently cuts out while slowing down/ coming to a junction. This may only happen once a week/ once every 10 days but then could happen 8-10 times in the one journey, everytime I slow to a stop. I then need to put in neutral and restart the engine. No issues with restarting. We have had it in with a Hyundai garage, nothing showing on the computer and as it didn’t cut out while they had it they couldn’t find out what the issue was and just charged for the Engineer’s time. Just wonder if anyone has had this issue? I don’t know how to get it resolved when it is so intermittent and I have no idea when it will happen next. It has happened with diesel low, full tank so doesn’t seem linked. We have had it serviced, changed oil, fuel and air filters and hasn’t made any difference. Any help would be much appreciated.
We do have a car care warranty but unless we can identify the issue, we can’t claim under the warranty

I think there is some problem with the fuel system, like a fuel pressure regulator, but I can’t be sure.
