Hi , I’m new to the forum ..so, Hello and can you help.?
I’ve just bought an old 207 and the rear offside brakes are down to the metal . The piston is so far out it won’t rewind in , I have tried removing the bleed nipple and the only route that seems viable is to remove the whole calliper and strip it down. That’s when the feed pipe nut is starting to ’round off ‘ I had soaked it in WD40 , got the right flat spanner (11mm) and the the mole-grips, to no avail .. At the moment it’s jacked up in the drive with Ice packs round the offending nut.
Any Ideas Please,…I’ve done many services in the past but this is a PIG ,..not a PUG.
There doesn’t seem to be any detachable joints where I could replace a section of brake line should I have to cut it off .
If I wasn’t bald I would be pulling my hair out now. HELP.
