ELF: reviews and customer ratings

The oil is excellent! I only use Elf for my Renault. But tell me, who puts oil on its side? One canister spilled during delivery! It's a good thing they were still packed in a bag and the oil didn't get the air and oil filters too wet! If it had been a little worse, the filters would have had to be thrown away! Oil should only be packed for shipping in an upright position!!!!

Good price and oil, that’s if you receive the oil. I waited for 2 weeks now to arrive and I was told I need to wait another week and a half. If I knew it is going to take this long I would’ve ordered it from somewhere else. Disappointing service this time.

ELF are an OEM lubricant manufacturer, widely used, and their products are of the highest quality. I have used ELF many times over the years with complete satisfaction and their oils are both OEM, and recommended by Renault, for my Scenic ii 1.9dci 2003.

any oil with those specs will b good for your engine if changed regularly like 10k-12kmax,im still using it with nearly 200k on my master 3 twin nearly 200bhp,good oil my engine likes to have some in between changes, 10l is more than u need

Good for my 2018 Renault Master and a great price for what it is. oil prices are mental in England at the minute. this is pretty half the price and still meets the spec

It seems to be a good product as since the last oil change 12000 km ago my engine had absolutely no problem. It has a much better sound and is working much better!

Many brands have now switched to smaller 4L bottles.
I am satisfied that the product complies with the VW 507 longlife standard and also the ACEA classification.

I have been using it since my first car E39. I do not save money for proper oil, but this one for me is the best price comparing to quality

I use the same 3 years now. Usually after 6000km they are worn out. I change them every 8000km. No problems to report.

Good quality, reasonable price. Suitable for Renault Talisman 1.6 dci 160hp. I change it every 8 - 10.000 km.

It's a French engine (Renault) and it's French oil - so nothing should be lost in translation! ;))
