Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car.
Step 7
Install the cabin filter to its mounting seat.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: pollen filter – VW Touran 1T1 1T2. Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.
Step 8
Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.
Step 9
Install the side trim panel. Position the part using the guides and lock the fasteners.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: pollen filter – VW Touran 1T1 1T2. Do not use excessive force during installation. This may damage the fasteners.
Step 10
Install and secure the protective cover under the glove box.

Step 11
Screw in the fasteners of the passenger side kick panel.
Step 12
Return the passenger seat to its initial position.
Step 13
Switch on the ignition.
Step 14
Switch on the air conditioning system. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 15
Switch off the ignition.
