Replacement: pollen filter – PEUGEOT 2008. Tip from AUTODOC experts:

Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
Warning! Shut down the engine before starting any work – PEUGEOT 2008.

Carry out replacement in the following order:

Step 1

Open the bonnet.

Step 2

Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

Step 3

Remove the cabin filter housing cover.

AUTODOC recommends:
Do not apply excessive force when removing the part. Otherwise you may damage it.
Step 4

Press the pollen filter retaining clips to release them.
Step 5

Take all filter cartridges out.
Step 6

Switch on the ignition.

Step 7

Close the heater flap.
Step 8

Switch off the ignition.

Step 9

Clean the cabin filter housing and cover.

Replacement: pollen filter – PEUGEOT 2008. Tip:
Remove any debris from the cabin filter housing carefully to prevent contamination of the ventilation duct.
Step 10

Install new filter cartridges.

AUTODOC recommends:
Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.PEUGEOT 2008 – It's important to only use high-quality car parts.
Step 11

Lock the pollen filter retaining clips in place.
Step 12

Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.

Replacement: pollen filter – PEUGEOT 2008. Professionals recommend:
When installing, do not use excessive force to avoid damage to the part.
Step 13

Remove the fender protection cover.

Step 14

Close the hood.

Step 15

Switch on the ignition. The heater flap will automatically return to its normal position.

Step 16

Switch on the air conditioning system. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.

Step 17

Switch off the ignition.
