How to change air filter on OPEL CORSA D [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]
All the parts you need to replace – Air Filter for Corsa D Hatchback (S07) and other OPEL models
Replacement: air filter – Opel Corsa D. AUTODOC experts recommend:
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
Step 1
Open the bonnet.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Unplug the mass air flow sensor connector.
Step 4
Detach the air intake hose clamp. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 5
Undo the fastening screws of the air filter cover. Use Torx T20. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 6
Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing.
Step 7
Take off the filter lid.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: air filter – Opel Corsa D. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it.
Step 8
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Step 9
Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system.
Step 10
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
Replacement: air filter – Opel Corsa D. Tip:
Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth.
Step 11
Remove the microfibre towel from the air intake hose.
Step 12
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.
AUTODOC recommends:
Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Attention! Use quality filters – Opel Corsa D.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
Step 13
Reinstall the air filter cover. Fasten it.
Replacement: air filter – Opel Corsa D. AUTODOC recommends:
Do not apply excessive force when installing the part. Otherwise you may damage the fasteners.
Step 14
Connect the air intake pipe to the air filter housing.
Step 15
Screw in the fastening screws of the air filter cover. Use Torx T20. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 16
Fasten the clamp on the air intake hose. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 17
Plug in the mass air flow sensor conntector.
Step 18
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 19
Close the hood.
