Replacement: headlight bulb – VW NEW BEETLE (9C1, 1C1). Professionals recommend:
- The replacement procedure is identical for the left and right headlight bulbs.
- Replace the bulbs in both headlights at a time.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: headlight bulb – VW NEW BEETLE (9C1, 1C1). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Switch off the ignition. Open the hood.Step 2
Remove the headlight rear cover. - Step 3
Detach the bulb holder by turning it by ~30°. Remove the holder from the headlight mounting seat. - Step 4
Remove the old bulb. Use a flat screwdriver. Check the condition of the bulb holder terminals. Replace if necessary.Replacement: headlight bulb – VW NEW BEETLE (9C1, 1C1). AUTODOC recommends:Clean the bulb mounting seat on the holder. - Step 5
Install a new bulb into the holder.AUTODOC recommends:Avoid touching the bulb glass. The finger marks left on it may cause failure.
