Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Take care to only use quality filters.
Step 18
Install the fuel filter cover with the filter cartridge attached.
Step 19
Tighten the fasteners of the fuel filter cover. Use a drive socket #27. Use a ratchet wrench. Remove the caps from the fuel lines.
Step 20
Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter and lock the fastening clips.
Step 21
Attach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
Step 22
Clean the fuel lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 23
Press the fuel primer pump several times until it gets hard.
Make sure the engine cover is properly seated. It should not be displaced with respect to the guiding fasteners.Do not apply excessive force when installing the part. Otherwise you may damage the fasteners.
Step 25
Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 26
Shut off the engine.
Step 27
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 28
Close the hood.
Replacement: fuel filter – Peugeot 307 SW. Tip from AUTODOC:
To protect the environment from pollution, be sure to dispose of the used filters at special collection points.
