Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses.
Step 7
Put the old filter cartridge in the container.
Step 8
Pump the fuel out of the fuel filter housing. Use a hand-operated fluid syringe.
Step 9
Install a new fuel filter.
AUTODOC recommends:
Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.PEUGEOT 306 Hatchback (7A, 7C, N3, N5) – It's important to only use high-quality car parts.
Step 10
Install and tighten the cap of the fuel filter housing.
Step 11
Tighten the fasteners of the fuel filter housing cover. Use HEX No.H4. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 9 Nm torque.
Step 12
Clean the fuel filter housing and the cover. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 13
Prime the fuel system manually.
Step 14
Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
