How to change front suspension arm / front control arm on PEUGEOT 107 1 (PM, PN) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: front lower arm – Peugeot 107 PM PN. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- The replacement procedure is identical for the left and right lower control arms.
- Warning! Shut down the engine before starting any work – Peugeot 107 PM PN.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. - Step 3
Raise the front of the car and secure on supports. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel bolts.Replacement: front lower arm – Peugeot 107 PM PN. Tip:To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the bolts. - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 7
Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer bar with the control arm. Use a combination spanner #10. Use a drive socket #12. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 8
Remove the stabilizer rod. Use a crowbar. - Step 9
Remove the cotter pin. Use a crowbar. - Step 10
Clean the fastener connecting the ball joint to the steering knuckle. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 11
Unscrew the ball joint fastening to the steering knuckle. Use a combination spanner #19. - Step 12
Disconnect the lower arm from the steering knuckle. Use a ball joint puller. - Step 13
Clean all joints of the arm. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: front lower arm – Peugeot 107 PM PN. After applying the spray, wait a few minutes. - Step 14
Unscrew the front arm fastener. Use a drive socket #17. Use a tap wrench. - Step 15
Remove the front fastener of the control arm. Use a drive socket #17. - Step 16
Unscrew the rear fastener connecting the control arm to the subframe. Use a drive socket #17. Use a tap wrench. - Step 17
Remove the rear fastener of the control arm. Use a drive socket #17. - Step 18
Remove the arm. Use a crowbar. - Step 19
Clean the mounting seats and the thread of the suspension arm. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 20
Install a new arm.Replacement: front lower arm – Peugeot 107 PM PN. AUTODOC recommends:During the installation process, use only new bolts and nuts.Do not damage the ball joint cover. - Step 21
Install the control arm fasteners. Use a drive socket #17. - Step 22
Connect the lower arm to the steering knuckle. - Step 23
Ιnstall the transverse stabilizer link.
