Replacement: anti roll bar links – VAUXHALL VIVARO Combi. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- Replace the anti-roll bar links and bushes in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for the anti-roll bar links and bushes on both sides of the same axle.
- All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.
Replacement: anti roll bar links – VAUXHALL VIVARO Combi. Take the following steps:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the fasteners of the front wheels. Use a 19 mm wheel impact socket. Use a tommy bar. - Step 3Raise the vehicle.Replacement: anti roll bar links – VAUXHALL VIVARO Combi. Tip:If you are using a jack, make sure the car is parked on a hard, flat surface.Make sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.Step 4
Unscrew the wheel fasteners.Caution!To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the fasteners. - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean the fasteners of the anti-roll bar link. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 7
Unscrew the fastener connecting the anti-roll bar link to the suspension strut. Use a 16 mm combination spanner. Use an H5 Allen key to secure the ball stud. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 8
Unscrew the fastener connecting the anti-roll bar link to the anti-roll bar. Use a 16 mm combination spanner. Use an H5 Allen key to secure the ball stud. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 9
Remove the anti-roll bar link. - Step 10
Clean the mounting seats of the anti-roll bar link. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 11Remove the other wheel.Step 12
Follow the same steps to remove the other anti-roll bar link. - Step 13
Install a new anti-roll bar link and its fasteners. Use a 16 mm combination spanner. Use an H5 Allen key to secure the ball stud. Use a ratchet wrench.
