Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – VAUXHALL VIVARO Combi (J7). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- Replace the anti-roll bar links and bushes in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for the anti-roll bar links and bushes on both sides of the same axle.
- Please note: all work on the car – VAUXHALL VIVARO Combi (J7) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out the replacement steps as follows:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the fasteners of the front wheels. Use a 19 mm wheel impact socket. Use a tommy bar. - Step 3Raise the vehicle.Warning!If you are using a jack, make sure the car is parked on a hard, flat surface.Make sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.Step 4
Unscrew the wheel fasteners.Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – VAUXHALL VIVARO Combi (J7). AUTODOC recommends:To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the fasteners. - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean the fasteners of the anti-roll bar bush bracket. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 7
Unscrew the fasteners of the anti-roll bar bush bracket. Use a 13 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 8
Remove the fastening bolts. - Step 9
Remove the anti-roll bar bush bracket. - Step 10
Remove the anti-roll bar bush. - Step 11
Clean the mounting seat of the anti-roll bar bush. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 12Remove the other wheel.Step 13
Follow the same steps to remove the other anti-roll bar bush bracket and the bush. - Step 14
Install a new anti-roll bar bush on one side of the axle.
