Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – OPEL VIVARO Platform/Chassis (E7). List of the tools you'll need:

                      Wire brush
                    
                      WD-40 spray
                    
                      All-purpose cleaning spray
                    
                      Ceramic grease
                    
                      Torque wrench
                    
                      16 mm combination spanner
                    
                      13 mm socket
                    
                      H5 Allen key
                    
                      19 mm wheel impact socket
                    
                      Ratchet wrench or power tool for removal/installation of threaded fasteners
                    
                      Tommy bar
                    
                      Car lift or jack with jack stands, and wheel chocks

Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – OPEL VIVARO Platform/Chassis (E7). AUTODOC experts recommend:

Replace the anti-roll bar links and bushes in pairs.
The replacement procedure is identical for the anti-roll bar links and bushes on both sides of the same axle.
Please note: all work on the car – OPEL VIVARO Platform/Chassis (E7) – should be done with the engine switched off.

Carry out the replacement steps as follows:

Step 1

Secure the wheels with chocks.
Step 2

Loosen the fasteners of the front wheels. Use a 19 mm wheel impact socket. Use a tommy bar.
Step 3

Raise the vehicle.

Warning!
If you are using a jack, make sure the car is parked on a hard, flat surface.Make sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.
Step 4

Unscrew the wheel fasteners.

Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – OPEL VIVARO Platform/Chassis (E7). AUTODOC recommends:
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the fasteners.
Step 5

Remove the wheel.
Step 6

Clean the fasteners of the anti-roll bar bush bracket. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 7

Unscrew the fasteners of the anti-roll bar bush bracket. Use a 13 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 8

Remove the fastening bolts.
Step 9

Remove the anti-roll bar bush bracket.
Step 10

Remove the anti-roll bar bush.
Step 11

Clean the mounting seat of the anti-roll bar bush. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 12

Remove the other wheel.

Step 13

Follow the same steps to remove the other anti-roll bar bush bracket and the bush.
Step 14

Install a new anti-roll bar bush on one side of the axle.
Step 15

Install the anti-roll bar bush bracket.
Step 16

Install and screw in the fastening bolts.
Step 17

Follow the same steps to install a new anti-roll bar bush and the bracket on the other side.
Step 18

Tighten the fasteners on both anti-roll bar bush brackets. Use a 13 mm socket. Use a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 30 N·m.
Step 19

Clean the wheel mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 20

Treat the brake disc surface that contacts the wheel rim. Use ceramic grease.
Step 21

Install the wheels.

Replacement: anti roll bar bushes – OPEL VIVARO Platform/Chassis (E7). Tip:
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when screwing in the fasteners.
Step 22

Screw in the wheel fasteners. Use a 19 mm wheel impact socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 23

Lower the car and tighten the wheel fasteners in a criss-cross pattern. Use a 19 mm wheel impact socket. Use a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 142 N·m.
Step 24

Remove the jack, jack stands, and wheel chocks.
