Replacement: crankshaft position sensor – VAUXHALL VIVARO Box (F7). AUTODOC recommends:
- All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.
Replacement: crankshaft position sensor – VAUXHALL VIVARO Box (F7). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Lift the vehicle using a vehicle lift or place it over an inspection pit.Step 2
Clean the mounting area of the crankshaft position sensor. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 3
Detach the connector of the crankshaft position sensor. Use a mounting lever. - Step 4
Press on the retaining spring of the crankshaft position sensor. Use a mounting lever. - Step 5
Remove the crankshaft position sensor. - Step 6
Remove the retaining spring of the crankshaft position sensor. - Step 7
Clean the mounting seat of the crankshaft position sensor. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 8
Treat the connector of the crankshaft position sensor. Use an electronic spray.
