Replacement: camshaft position sensor – OPEL VIVARO Platform/Chassis (E7). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.
Replacement: camshaft position sensor – OPEL VIVARO Platform/Chassis (E7). Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Clean the mounting area of the camshaft position sensor. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 4
Detach the connector of the camshaft position sensor. - Step 5
Unscrew the fastener of the camshaft position sensor. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 6
Remove the fastening bolt. - Step 7
Remove the camshaft position sensor. - Step 8Clean the mounting seat of the camshaft position sensor. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.Step 9
Wipe the mounting seat of the camshaft position sensor dry. Use a paper towel. - Step 10
Install the new camshaft position sensor.
