Replacement: battery – Renault Master 2 van. Professionals recommend:
- All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.
Carry out the replacement steps as follows:
- Step 1
Open the bonnet. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Unscrew the negative battery terminal fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 4
Remove the negative terminal from the battery. - Step 5
Unscrew the positive battery terminal fastener. Use an 8 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 6
Remove the positive terminal from the battery. - Step 7
Remove the battery. - Step 8
Clean the battery terminals. Use a battery terminal brush. - Step 9
Install a new battery. - Step 10
Connect the positive terminal to the battery.
