Windscreen de-mist not working! SSANGYONG

My daughter owns a 2016 Tourismo and the windscreen demist function is not working! The air-con and all the other heater functions work fine but using the front demist does not. When you use this function there is no air blowing up onto the windscreen and it’s taking ages to demist.

Any ideas please

      There could be a bunch of reasons, like the damper drive in the heater unit not working or the defogging switch acting up—gotta check all that stuff.
