which engine to fit in a vw caddy?

@Witicagnall Apr 07, 2021MemberHey guys, I’m looking for advice on a VW Caddy engine swap.
I recently bought a VW Caddy C20 TDi from 2009 with a pretty worn-out 1.9 BLS engine. What type of engine, e.g. BKD, BKC, would make a good replacement? I want something that can be replaced directly without too much hassle. Any suggestions?

@Yescupon Apr 09, 2021MemberI’d say BXJ or BSU. They both have the same part number so technically should be a straight swap, but there could always be some complications when fitting a used engine.
