rcd 310 bluetooth – how to connect?
VW GOLF VI (5K1)

I’ve recently purchased a VW Golf GT with an RCD 310 system.

When I go through the settings, there’s a Bluetooth option but when I turn it on and try to connect my phone to the RCD 310 Bluetooth, my phone can’t find the device to connect to it. I’ve been reading about this online but haven’t been able to find any satisfactory information.

I want to be able to connect my iPhone 12 to the system via Bluetooth so I can play music through the speakers.

My steering wheel has a phone icon on it too but this isn’t working either. Maybe this is related to the Bluetooth issue?

    I’d appreciate any tips. Cheers

I’ve got an RCD 310 too but I haven’t tried to connect my phone to it. I think you have to install certain modules to be able to do that.

I use the MDI socket in the armrest to play music via a pen drive.

    Hello Bultempap1941,

I ad the exact same problem.

You need to check under the passenger seat if there is a bluetooth module installed.

If there is you may need some coding in VCDS.
