The general steps you’ll follow:
- Get the car up and safe, battery disconnected, and engine nice and cool (unless you fancy a hot shower... in antifreeze).
- Remove undertrays, disconnect the radiator hoses (expect splash zone), unclip and remove the fan if needed.
- Undo any bolts/pins holding the radiator in the support frame.
- Gently wiggle and pull the radiator out—it’s usually a tight fit, so some “creative language” may help.
- Swap in the new radiator, reattach everything, fill up with fresh coolant, and bleed the system to get rid of air pockets.
