MERCEDES-BENZ B-Class (W245) B 180 (245.232)@user_508161 Aug 12, 2021MemberHi, am Peter Malupenga from Zambia, Central Africa… Am getting a knock sound in the morning when I start the engine and at one point it wrote oil pressure low, I should switch off the engine… What should I do…?

16.08.21 - @Anna Johnson Aug 16, 2021AUTODOC expertYou should check the level of engine oil.If the oil level is below normal, then this is the reason that this lamp comes on.If the oil level is lower, you need to add oil to the desired level.If the oil pressure indicator is still on, then another reason the indicator may come on is a faulty oil pump.In any case, if the oil pressure or low oil level light comes on, the machine must be stopped immediately and turned off, if the above steps with adding oil did not help.Please contact a specialist.Reply
