To remove the old one, it is necessary to apply heat carefully to soften the adhesive and gently pry the overlay until it detaches. Once removed, thoroughly clean and prepare the surface. Before installing the new part, heat the installation area, peel off the protective film from the adhesive backing, and position the new overlay securely in place.
I am trying to find out how to remove the Engine Intake Manifold Cover from my Audi 8PA V6 3.2 because as you can see the Audi emblem is missing.
I would also like to know how to replace the new part once the old cover is off.
It is Part number 3 in the last photo. These are all photos of the new part, bet there are no instructions whatsoever, so I would be most grateful if anyone could help me with this.
To me it just looks as if the part is held in place by some kind of sticky adhesive, like double sided tape?
ANY HELP would be gratefully appreciated!
