How to find out the bmw paint warranty

I’m trying to find out how many years the BMW paint warranty covers for peeling and rust.

    I’ve got 2017.

The paint’s starting to peel a bit under the rear passenger window and there’s rust along the lip of the rear arches.

There’s a small rust bubble at the bottom of the rear passenger door and all.

I’m fairly miffed cos I’m always dead careful about keeping the paint in good nick and washing, drying, and polishing properly!

Does anyone know how long it covers? Cheers

In my experience BMW won’t accept any claims if any bodywork repairs have been carried out, apart from if they were done at an official dealership of course. Otherwise, it should be covered.

The paint warranty is normally 12 years but rust is only covered if it’s rusted from inside out.
