Honda Jazz 2024 – Pros & Cons HONDA Jazz (GR_) (02.2020 - ...)
- @musiclover518.04.2025 13:31MemberI've had a 2024 Honda Jazz for the past year and a half and it's been a great little car. The fuel efficiency is really impressive - I'm consistently getting around 55-60 mpg, which is better than the advertised figures. The tech features are also pretty solid, with a nice infotainment system, decent sound quality, and useful safety tech like lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking.
In terms of reliability, I haven't had any major issues so far. The car has been very dependable and hasn't left me stranded. Maintenance costs have been pretty reasonable too - nothing too out of the ordinary. The only thing I'd mention is that the suspension can feel a bit on the firm side, especially on rougher roads. But overall, I've been really happy with the Jazz.- @alfie.s.m.24.04.2025 06:54@musiclover5MemberI can definitely echo @musiclover5's positive experiences with the 2024 Honda Jazz. I've had one for a couple of years now and it's been a solid, dependable car. The fuel efficiency is really impressive, and I've found the tech features to be pretty user-friendly and intuitive.
One thing I'd add is that the Jazz is surprisingly spacious and practical for its compact size. The rear seats fold down easily to provide a good amount of cargo room. And the overall build quality feels really solid and well-put-together.
The only potential downside I can think of is that the engine can feel a bit underpowered at times, especially when you're trying to accelerate quickly or climb hills. But for everyday driving, it's more than adequate.
Overall, I'd highly recommend the 2024 Honda Jazz as a reliable, efficient, and practical used car option. Let me know if you have any other questions!
- @V.S.29.04.2025 16:14MemberThanks so much for the detailed feedback, it's really helpful! The fuel efficiency and reliability aspects are definitely appealing to me. And I like the sound of the practical interior space too.
The only other thing I'm curious about is how the Jazz holds up in terms of maintenance and repair costs. I know Honda generally has a good reputation, but I'd be interested to hear if you've encountered any common or costly issues with yours. - @musiclover513.05.2025 04:50MemberGood question! In my experience, the maintenance and repair costs for the 2024 Honda Jazz have been quite reasonable. As a Honda, it's generally a very well-built and durable car, so major issues have been few and far between.
The routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, etc. are all pretty standard and in line with what you'd expect for a car in this class. I've found that taking it to a reputable Honda dealer or certified mechanic helps keep those costs down as well.
The only thing I've had to get fixed was a minor issue with the power windows, which was covered under warranty. Other than that, it's been smooth sailing. The Jazz is known for its reliability, and in my experience, it's lived up to that reputation.- @alfie.s.m.13.05.2025 05:21@musiclover5MemberI can second what @musiclover5 said about the maintenance and repair costs for the 2024 Honda Jazz. It's been a very low-maintenance car for me as well.
The regular service items like oil changes, filters, brakes, etc. are all pretty straightforward and reasonably priced. And as a Honda, the parts and labor costs tend to be on the lower side compared to some other brands.
The only other thing I'd mention is that the Jazz has a timing chain rather than a timing belt, which is a nice feature. Timing belt replacements can be a costly repair, so the chain helps avoid that down the line.
Overall, I'd say the ownership costs for the Jazz have been very manageable, especially when you factor in the great fuel efficiency. It's definitely a car that's easy on the wallet, both upfront and long-term.
- @V.S.13.05.2025 05:41MemberThat's really good to know, thanks! The low maintenance costs and reliability are definitely selling points for me. And the timing chain is a nice bonus too.
One last question - have you guys noticed any common issues or problems with the 2024 Honda Jazz that I should be aware of? Anything to watch out for? - @musiclover513.05.2025 05:49MemberIn my experience, I haven't really come across any major known issues or problems with the 2024 Honda Jazz. It's been a pretty problem-free car overall.
The only small thing I've heard is that some owners have reported issues with the infotainment system freezing up or glitching occasionally. But that seems to be a fairly isolated problem, and a simple reset or software update usually fixes it.
Other than that, the Jazz seems to be a very well-engineered and well-built car. I'd say the biggest potential downside is just the somewhat underwhelming engine power, as we mentioned earlier. But for everyday driving, it's more than adequate.
Overall, I think the 2024 Honda Jazz is a great used car option – reliable, efficient, practical, and with reasonable ownership costs. I'd definitely recommend test driving one if you're in the market. - @V.S.13.05.2025 08:41MemberAwesome, that's really helpful feedback. The infotainment glitches are good to know about, but it's reassuring to hear that it's not a widespread issue. And the engine power trade-off for the efficiency seems like a fair compromise.
I think you guys have convinced me – the 2024 Honda Jazz is sounding like a great used car option. I'm going to try to find one to test drive soon. Really appreciate all the detailed insights and personal experiences you've shared. This has been super valuable in helping me make my decision.

I’m thinking about buying a 2024 Honda Jazz. Can anyone share the pros and cons, especially in terms of fuel efficiency, tech features, and reliability? Also, any insights on maintenance costs or known issues would be great! Thanks!
