Hi All, would anyone be able to tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 2011 B200. Thanks
@Colened21.05.2021 11:04MemberUnder the hood to the right of the engine, in theory, there will be a flask with 2 hoses.- @Geoff Newman30.05.2025 10:33MemberThanks for asking about the fuel filter location on your 2011 Mercedes B200. I've worked on these models before, and I can confirm it's in the engine compartment. You'll need to open the hood and remove the plastic engine cover first. The fuel filter is situated near the heart of the engine, usually on the right side. For the diesel version, it's quite accessible once you've removed the covers. Remember, the exact position can vary slightly between petrol and diesel models, so it's best to consult your service manual for the most accurate information. If you're planning to replace it yourself, be careful when disconnecting the fuel lines to avoid any damage.

But once you've popped the bonnet and removed those pesky plastic covers, it's right there in the engine bay, waving at you like a lost tourist in Piccadilly Circus.

- @M. Robinson03.06.2025 08:50MemberSpeaking of the Mercedes B-Class fuel filter replacement, I did mine last month. Word of advice: wear old clothes. I ended up looking like I'd been mud wrestling with an oil tanker. But hey, saved a few quid on labour costs!
