Removing the front brake disc on a SsangYong Rexton (W163) has a key feature: the disc is not removed separately, but is attached to the hub. This is a more complex procedure than on most passenger cars.
Caution! The Rexton (especially earlier models) has a design that requires disassembling the hub assembly.
Removing the front brake disc on a Rexton requires removing the hub.
    - Remove the caliper and its bracket, hanging it up to avoid tearing the hose.
    - Remove the hub cap and disassemble the hub (if equipped with all-wheel drive).
    - Remove the hub nut.
    - Remove the hub together with the disc.
    - On a workbench, unscrew the bolts (6 or more) securing the disc to the back of the hub and separate them.

Assembly is in reverse order, observing the specified tightening torques.
