On the Skoda Superb II (3T4), changing the differential oil is relevant if you have a four-wheel drive version (4x4).
    How to replace:
    1. Locate the drain and filler plugs on the rear differential housing.
    2. Unscrew the drain plug and completely drain the old oil into a suitable container.
    3. Screw the drain plug back on.
    4. Pour new oil through the filler hole until it starts to flow out.
    5. Screw the filler plug back on.
    What oil to buy:
    - Use a special transmission oil for differentials that meets VW specifications. This is often API GL-5 with a viscosity of 75W-90 or 80W-90.
    - If you have a Haldex clutch (it is responsible for connecting the rear drive), then a separate special Haldex oil is poured into it, and it is changed according to its regulations (often every 60,000 km). Do not confuse Haldex oil with differential oil. Always check your vehicle's operating manual or official parts catalogs for the exact type and volume of oil.
