2017-18 model – Dash is showing fault, Adblue tank is full, yet countdown continues. Can the sensor alone be replaced, or does the whole tank have to be replaced (as has been suggested to me)?

This is a common and annoying problem for VAG vehicles (which includes Skoda) with AdBlue systems, especially in early Kodiaq models.
In most cases, when the AdBlue level or quality sensor fails, it is integrated into the pump and heater module, which is an integral part of the AdBlue tank. To more accurately determine what needs to be replaced, a more in-depth diagnosis is required; we recommend contacting a service center.
