2.0 TDI timing belt replacement on VW Tiguan 2010
VW TIGUAN (5N_)

Hi everyone. I’m wondering about 2.0 TDI timing belt replacement. I’ve just got myself a 2010 VW Tiguan with 120,000 miles on the clock. Do I need to get the timing belt changed? Are there any other replacements I look at having done?
    Cheers

The recommended replacement intervals for 2010 TDI common rail engines are every 48 months or 80,000 miles for the timing belt and every 96 months or 160,000 miles for the timing belt tensioner.
